Captain's Welcome
As Captain of Brookmans Park Golf Club, may I welcome you to our new and improved website.
Founded in 1930 by Major P. C. Burton and three colleagues, he formed Brookmans Park Golf Club Limited as a privately owned club.
Our membership has now grown to over 700, inclusive of all sections, and I believe we have a reputation for the professional and friendly way we look after visiting golf societies and corporate guests, both on and off the course.
The area also has another claim to fame as Sir Thomas Moore is believed to have written his “Utopia” here. In fact, there is something distinctly Utopian about the whole setting of the course, which is located in one of the most beautiful parkland areas of Hertfordshire.
Every new men's and ladies Club Captain nominates a charity for their year of office and many thousands of pounds have been donated to worthwhile and deserving charities over the years. This years charity is The Willow Foundation.
I hope you will come and visit us, as we are confident you will not be disappointed.
