13th Hole - Taylors Challenge
Hole named after joint course designer J H Taylor. He was one of the best golfers of his era winning the Open Championship five times before turning to course design. He was also instrumental in the creation of the PGA.
The longest Par 5 on the course and it is important to keep your drive down the right side of the fairway but avoiding the bunker and the gorse. This leaves a clear shot towards the green giving bigger hitters the chance to get on in two. Those looking to lay up, be careful of the cross ditch with your second shot.
